For the last 9 years I have been working as a trainer supporting care staff to complete Health and social care qualifications. I hold levels 2, 3 and 4 N.V.Q's in Health and Social care, as well as up to date Moving and Handling and First aid certificates. I also have experience supporting individuals with Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Incontinence issues, Stoma care, Catheter care, mobility and eating and drinking difficulties. I own a car and my interests include swimming, reading, going to the cinema and concerts. I want to return to being a carer/personal assistant as I love the contact with service users , I love building relationships and the rewards of providing person centred care and helping individuals to remain independent and in some cases to develop new skills. I want to put all of my qualifications into practice to deliver individualised care and support in a safe environment by safeguarding service users and by embedding equality, diversity and inclusion.
