During my nursing career I have worked in Intensive Care, with people with Learning Differences, Rehabilitation, Palliative and End of Life Care, Rehabilitation, Acute Medicine, Cardiology, Cystic Fibrosis and Dermatology. Although I have predominately worked with adults I also have experience with Paediatric care. I am no longer working as a registered nurse and I have let my registration lapse. Instead I have reached a stage in my career in which I would like to focus on the aspects I have always enjoyed, which is about providing individualised care, chatting and getting to know people and actively working towards enhancing peoples lives, whether that's going out for a drive, visiting the theatre, a break somewhere to visit friends and family or providing the hands on care you need. I am a lively chatty individual who will give most things ago. I have always prided myself in doing and being the best I can be. and as such providing a high standard of compassionate care. Whilst working as a lecturer I taught a broad range of topics including moving and handling, first aid, infection control, medication administration, catheterisation, Palliative and End of Life Care including symptom management, communication skills and assessment and decision making. Personally I enjoy architecture, attending the theatre, visiting new areas, going for walks, reading, travelling, swimming and going to the gym. If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask. If I sound like someone that you would be interested in chatting to about your specific requirement's do get in touch. I look forward to speaking to you soon. Debbie
