I am currently in my twelfth year as a qualified occupational therapist and have a breadth of experience working in both people's homes and on hospital wards. My work has allowed me the opportunity to work as both a rehabilitation-focused occupational therapist and with people who have long-term or life-long disabilities. Prior to qualifying as an occupational therapist I worked for four years as a carer/hcsw and it was this work that gave me a passion for helping others to live to their full potential, in comfort and with dignity. I currently work for Swansea Council as an Occupational Therapist it would therefore not be appropriate for me to take additional within this area. I am though very happy to travel to neighbouring authorities for work.
