I have...More I have good experience working in acute in-patient ward, drug and alcohol ward, and assessment unit for elderly both functional and organic, crisis intervention team and community mental health services. I am equipped with skill of undertaking Risk Assessment and Risk Management at all times. I have demonstrated ensure safe storage and in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council code of practice. I have the ability to measure the mental state of service users and distinguish particular symptoms in terms of schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, bipolar affective disorder. During my mental health training, I devised care plans together with clients and careers and offered specific interventions e.g. how to reduce stress within households. I also educate service users about their diagnosis, prognosis and empower them to manage their illnesses. The specific skills I offered were problem solving, medication management, relapse prevention and motivational interviewing. I liaised effectively with other agencies as appropriate to ensure service users’ care were maintained. I worked with the clients in managing their housing, benefits applications and devising programs to occupy their day and time. During my training, I have developed a good working knowledge of mental Health Act (1983), Mental Capacity Act (2005) and Care Programmed Approach (CPA). I have the ability to work within the policies and guidelines set out by the Code of Conduct (NMC) and other relevant legislative frameworks using a reflective approach to practice. I always ensure that high standard of practice is maintained in relation to the detention of service-users under the MHA 1983 I am able to implement the Equal and Diversity policy, hence promoting constructive relationships with warmth and empathy, using effective communication skills and non-judgmental attitude to others. I have a friendly personality with excellent inter-professional skill, I am also committed to multidisciplinary teamwork, service-user and career involvement
 to ensure professional practice and service developments are implemented effectively towards improving service-users’ outcome.
