I can also assist with other care duties such as moving and handling, medication, cooking, house keeping, personal cares, bathroom assistance and administration . As a student social worker l have done placements with different local authorities. Working and studying within these fields has allowed me to develop a range of skills. I enjoy working with a range of individuals from different backgrounds and this has allows me to gain confidence in communication skills and listening skills. As a experienced Carer , l have also learnt the importance of prioritising the clients needs and ensuring they feel they are treated with dignity and respect. This has not only been a work experience opportunity for me but an enjoyable learning experience which l feel drives my position attitude towards working in the healthcare sector and my passion for providing an outstanding quality of care. I enjoy cooking , reading, movies, music, crossword, travel , exercise and sports.
