Comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, making independent decisions and working collaboratively with customer coaches. Well-organised and detail-oriented, able to maintain accurate customer information and handle safeguarding concerns. Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate services to customers, colleagues, and partner agencies. I am currently working as a support worker in a supported living accommodation, assisting clients aged 16 to 80+. These clients have a range of learning disabilities, and we aim to equip them with the tools to lead as independent a life as possible. I work 37.5 hours per week and know my rota two weeks in advance. I am looking for additional hours to fit around my current job, and I aim to work as part of a Curam micro team. I am happy to work with both male and female clients. One of my passions is cooking, so this is something I enjoy doing with my clients, and I strive to encourage them to maintain a well-balanced diet where possible. I am always willing to learn new skills if required to care for clients.
