This was the most painful and testing experience I have ever gone through, but it did teach me how to care for other people's loved ones. By now, I believe I possess all the relevant values to make me an excellent carer, such as kindness, respect and empathy. I have a firmer faith in humanity. In my role as a carer communication is essential. I listen carefully, as deeply understanding and gaining the trust of clients simplifies and eases all interactions Indeed, nurturing the dignity of those I care for improves their experience and increases satisfaction.
