I ensure that the people we support are given equal opportunity and are treated based on individual needs while also considering cultural and dietary needs, e.g., halal meat preferred by Muslims, vegetarian does not eat meat, and kosher preferred by Jews. My service to residents ranges from maintenance of safe clean and comfortable environment on resuming shift, ensuring fire doors are shut, exit doors are free from obstruction and environment free from hazards. I ensure medication are locked away in safe cupboards, I can duly prompt and or administer medication. I ensure all COSHH are correctly stored away in locked cupboards.
