I have a specialist interest in postnatal support, reablement, and supporting children through to young adults. I am currently supporting young people to access the community and am open to taking on new clients. I am particularly passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred support for children, teenagers, and young adults, helping them to build confidence, engagement, and independence. I am adaptable, warm, and approachable, and I strive to meet people exactly where they are. My support can be emotional—helping someone through a difficult period—or practical, such as assisting with daily tasks, offering reablement-focused guidance, or providing age-appropriate enrichment activities and experiences. I also offer dedicated postnatal support, providing calm, practical, and reassuring assistance for new parents. This includes emotional support during the early adjustment period, help with daily routines, gentle guidance with newborn care, and creating space for parents to rest and regain confidence. I offer tailored 1:1 support for children and young people with additional learning needs, promoting personal development, wellbeing, and meaningful engagement. I work closely with families, educators, and multi-agency professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic support, with a strong focus on independence, social skills, and confidence-building. Key areas of practice include: • Facilitating access to educational, social, and community activities to enhance confidence and engagement. • Maintaining accurate records, liaising with families, and providing clear updates to multi-agency professionals. • Applying EHCP awareness and safeguarding knowledge to ensure appropriate and effective interventions. • Planning and adapting activities to meet developmental goals, supporting skill-building, reablement, and positive outcomes.
