I am a friendly, chatty, hardworking person, I like to form relationships with other people and enjoy talking about different cultures. Over the last 2 years, I have enjoyed learning about others and improving my communication skills. I am able to take up challenges and work those in a positive and friendly manners. Although I have worked in nursing homes with older people, more recently, I have worked in people's own homes. This has given me experience in working with individuals who have mental health issues and old people with dementia and complex chronic health conditions. I have experience working with fluctuating and rapidly determining health conditions. I am currently working in palliative and end of life care situations, This has enabled me to work with other health and social care professionals to maintain people's wishes and comfort in their own home. I have experience of supporting family members through distressing times and providing them with much needed respite. I am experienced in providing personal care services such as hygiene, toileting, eating, and drinking as well, carrying out domestic duties. I have gained experience in feeding fluid and medication. I am able to administrate medication and have experience in the administration of PRN medication, and I have had to use my observations and assessments skills, I am able to communicate my concerns with health professionals and family members.
