I feel it is a privilege to be able to help people that need support to make a positive impact on their lives, enabling them to live in their own homes and to live as independently as possible. I have over 5 years experience as a live in carer. Before that I was a self employed Chiropodist running my own clinic for over 20 years, I also worked part time as a Pilates teacher, before taking 5 years off to travel. I consider my role as a carer is to be there to listen to and understand my clients needs physically and psychologically and to work alongside them and their families to bring support and happiness.
