Having worked in the care sector for more than 20 years in the UK, I have functioned in various roles/position including support work, home care, residents with learning disabilities, mental health issues, to mention a few bipolar, brain damage, dementia, depression, eating disorder, I have acquired...More Having worked in the care sector for more than 20 years in the UK, I have functioned in various roles/position including support work, home care, residents with learning disabilities, mental health issues, to mention a few bipolar, brain damage, dementia, depression, eating disorder, I have acquired skills that would enable me to perform duties of a support worker. I have carried out various tasks including: providing physical and emotional support to residents in order to promote their independent and dignity eg supporting them with, bathing, cleaning, shopping, dressing, toileting, administering medication as prescribed by client GP following individuals care plan. I am currently available for live in position on a part time basic for 4/5 days per week and I am flexible on what days these can be, when doing live in I prefer to have a 2 hour break each day. For day shifts I am looking for longer hours of 6/12 hour shifts. I have access to a car which is covered for business insurance. I am comfortable working with male and female clients.
