I always greet people with a smile and show positive attitude no matter how bad things may look. As a carer I ensure that people I care for, whether they’re family members, clients all feel safe, secure and most importantly that they are being treated with dignity and respect. I do my best to support and encourage my client to be as independent as possible. I understand that every client is different and their needs are unique to them because of this I am happy to negotiate my rates and we will finalise the rate after a consultations. My rates range between £950 -£1200 I love my job and I'm passionate about the care i provide and the needs of the people that I'll be caring for. I ensure the care I'm providing is person-centred and in the interest of the service user and their families, often going the extra mile to make sure the appropriate level of care is achieved. I've a lot of patience and full of empathy. I always put myself into the shoes of my client and tell myself what I'd want if I were them so that's what I give and provide them with. This enables me to understand clients needs and tailor my service around the knowledge and understanding. This allows me to provide high quality care and support. Patience and communication is the key. I'm never in a hurry to finish. Always be respectful of clients beliefs, make them feel comfortable around me and respect decisions made by clients. Always being alert and being observant helps as sometimes a lot can be picked up from this. Any change in eating, sleeping, drinks are changes that often occur and should be sported quickly and addressed. Any concerns no matter how small I'll highlight and its all about teamwork and working hand in hand with internal and external parties. Confidentiality is also an important part of my carer.
