I have worked in the health and Social care sector for 8 years in various settings as a support worker, additionally I have been a self employed carer for the past 5 years. I have gained excellent skills, knowledge and experience which have helped to broaden my understanding of working with vulnerable children and adults with disabilities. I am reliable and trustworthy with the commitment to maintain high standards, endeavour to contribute and participate in providing quality care. My practice is underpinned by a Person-Centred approach based upon the six basic values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilments, also help provide a therapeutic supportive, structured and relaxed environment in which service users can develop and enjoy their lives. I ensure accurate records are kept and adhere to policy and procedures.
