I give respect to both the client and family. My roles and responsibilities as a carer include assisting with personal care, such as washing, bathing, dressing. I perform housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linen. I assist in safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients. I can accompany clients to medical appointments, monitor and record clients’ physical and emotional well-being and report to appropriate professionals and family. I cook, wash-up and do all the day to day house chores.
