I have gained experience caring for an elderly patient in hospital alongside caring for my friend's mum who was a dementia patient. As someone who has personally supported friends and family with dementia care needs, I am personally invested and motivated to deliver the best care possible. Moreover I have demonstrated my personal qualities while working for two separate medical surgeries where I always prioritised patient care need and ensured positive patient outcomes. I have gain additional experience while working voluntarily for the British Heart Foundation where I demonstrated my people skills by taking ownership of charity fund raising opportunities.
