I have been in a facility where I have dealt with a public office dealing with attending to clients, receiving and making official phone calls, reporting of near misses incidents and accidents .Filing sending emails, memos and using Microsoft word, excel, outlook. Planning and organizing diaries. I have also dealt with patients care and nursing assistance roles. During my time in My Parents care Home I have learnt how to give emotional and physical support to our residents, by socializing being friendly, by taking walks with those who can by reading books and playing games. I also used to support our residents with daily tasks using a person centered approach. I was assisting our residents with personal care, respecting their privacy and dignity. I have also dealt with patients with mental illnesses, patients with dementia, stroke, pallative care, end of life care and some knowledge anatomy and physiology. My passion for patients, along with my ability to communicate well has always made me an asset in the workplace.i feel that my patient driven approach and desire to learn new ideas and roles will make me an asset in your institution.
