I am a qualified mental health nurse (RMN) with 3yrs experience. Prior to obtaining my nursing qualification, l was a secondary school teacher for 23 years. Both my experience in teaching and nursing have greatly enhanced my people skills, and the ability to offer exceptional person centred care. I have more than 15 years experience of caring and supporting adults and children with learning disabilities. I have also had significant experience in elderly care. I have significant experience of nursing individuals with mental health issues, including psychosis, anxiety, depression and those in inpatient care. I am an effective communicator who prides in the ability to offer a wholistic approach in care, physical, social and emotional. As a nurse, l am competent with medication administration, care planning, multidisciplinary working and offering the effective person centred care. I am friendly, professional and reliable. My rates are negotiable depending on the level of care/nursing that is required for clients this may or decrease. I am happy to assist with caring for clients animals as long as they are friendly and do not take away from the main focus of my clients.
