I've got a natural ability to get along with people. I'm friendly and warm creating happy and caring atmosphere. I've been looking after the people with severe conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, with people with low abilities to move or walk around. I used to do the various shifts including night duties. I was very much involved in the organising their days in terms of making food prompting medication, GP and hospital appointments, attending the various hospital appointments as well. I had an excellent caring relationship with the people I was looking after. We would spend time chatting or just go out for a walk or have a cup tea together. Being a carer is truly rewarding as you would meet friends for life.
