Prior to commencing my studies, I worked as an Aircraft Designer for 13 years for Airbus UK. I decided to start caring, as I like people and have a passion for looking after and caring for people. Whilst studying for my Commercial Pilots Licence, since 2019, I've cared for a client 1 week per month for the last 3 years. I trained with my current agency and have completed all the necessary training regarding care assistant, however they have retained these copies. During my time with my client, the following are done: 1. Personal Care 2. Cooking - Assisting in implementing healthy balance diet for the client 3. Shopping 4. Maintaining the flat to a clean standard 5. Going on outings requested by the client 6. Maintaining a good social life, for example, going to the gym and taking him swimming 7. Trying to assist them to maintain their independence 8. Driving client to and from medical appointments, and providing him his daily medication I am currently looking for clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting. I am happy to have pets in the home, however I do not have experience of caring for animals so this would need to be carried out by some one else. I am comfortable working with male and female clients.
