W10 4QF 261064 Hello, I am a very caring person who loves helping others; as a mother, I always go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is well and safe. I love animals, I make a mean cup of tea! I'm punctual and I have a very positive can - do attitude in all that I do. I will always respect your wishes and will do as much or as little as you want me to do, I understand that it's not nice to have your independence taken off you. I am good with admin, so, I can open letters, arrange paperwork, type out emails for you, or do anything related to excel, word, outlook, and PowerPoint. I'm flexible, able, and willing. I have a full manual / automatic driving license and can drive mobility vehicles. I also own my own car. I don’t drink, don’t smoke; but, I have no problem with people who do. I have interests in art, music, plants and flowers, swimming, roller skating, going to the gym, animals and reading.

Every day as a carer is different, but my goal is always the same: to provide the best care possible with compassion and respect. A typical day with me as a carer starts with a friendly greeting and a chat about how the person I'm caring for is feeling and what they want to do that day. I believe in starting the day on a positive note, setting a calm and reassuring tone. Morning routines usually involve helping with personal hygiene, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. I always make sure these tasks are done with the utmost respect for the person’s dignity and comfort. For example, I had a client who loved having her hair styled a certain way, and seeing her smile after I helped her with it was always the highlight of my morning. Meal times are another important part of the day. I enjoy preparing meals that are not only nutritious but also catered to their preferences. I remember one client who loved a particular soup his mother used to make, and I took the time to learn the recipe. It’s those little things that make a difference. Throughout the day, I assist with medications, ensuring they’re taken correctly and on time. I also keep an eye on their overall health and well-being, noticing any changes and acting quickly if needed. What I love most is spending quality time with the people I care for. Whether it’s playing a favourite game, going for a walk, or simply having a conversation, these moments are special. I had a client who enjoyed gardening, and we would spend afternoons planting flowers and vegetables. It was not only therapeutic for him but also incredibly rewarding for me to see him so engaged and happy. In my career as a carer, I aim to provide not just care, but companionship and support. I’m passionate about making each day better for the people I look after, helping them live their lives to the fullest.

W9 3BL 21298 I have been working in the care sector since 2009. I have gained theoretical and practical experience of caring for a disabled or chronically unwell person, experience of working with mental illness and a good understanding of different illness and disabilities and how these impacts on the individual’s life. I am an adaptable, conscientious, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience of implementing personal support plans which focus on the individual’s welfare, needs, wants and interests. In my current role I am responsible for caring and supporting clients with physical and mental disabilities. This involves assistance with daily living tasks such as personal care and mobility as directed in the care plan. I also undertake escort duties and encourage clients to participate in social events and gentle physical activities. I have the understanding of clients group and of the principles of equality, diversity and anti-discriminatory practice. I also understand that older people aspire to independence, autonomy, choice, keeping active, and feeling included and being in control of their own lives, therefore working with them and promoting this way of life is one of the ways to develop support networks and permit their independence. I am punctual, committed and hardworking and keen to find a challenging position within a caring organisation where I will be able to continue to increase my work experience and develop my abilities.
