I have diverse experience of working from different care settings, which includes care homes, supported living domiciliary care and companionship. I am passionate about helping clients to maintain their independence and support them and maintain their dignity and privacy . I can assist with hygiene, toileting, feeding, cooking and cleaning. I have a full clean UK driving licence and enjoy taking clients out for activities. My other experience includes working with people with dementia, chronic conditions and end of life care. I have worked in a substance misuse setting supporting clients who have substance misuse problems, mental health illnesses, namely, depression and anxiety. I have got experience of working in collaboration with other professionals, mental health nurses, Consultant Psychiatrists, Keyworkers and \general Practitioners. I am also a Qualified Counsellor. During my counsellor training I worked in a hospice providing counselling to clients with terminal illness and bereaved family members. I am always open to learning, enjoy reading, listening to music and watching football.
