In 2020 I decided to take a course in “understanding children and young People’s Mental Health” to be able to help them specially during the pandemic. However, it is my understanding and experience that children, young people, adult, and older people are all in need of a friendly, kind, and patient approach and I know that I am that person. I had a disable older brother who needed 24 hour care and I helped look after him until the day he passed away. I also gain a lot of experience looking after a lovely aunt while she was fighting cancer. I enjoy listening to people, but I specially enjoy listening to older people as they have so much life’s experience to share. I am a very patient person and I am always happy to work at my client's pace, I want to do what is best for them. I worked with children with autism, physical disabilities and with attachment problems. I am experienced in personal grooming, and I enjoy helping clients look their best. I can assist with eating, cooking, cleaning, and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full clean driving license and enjoy taking clients out to meet friends. I have been working as a primary teaching assistant for 10 years, I enjoyed the experience of working with children.” I was told that I am a good cook and I believe I am.
