I started my career in NHS as a pathology support worker in specimen reception, and I worked there more than one and a half years. I wanted to be a nurse. Therefore, I started to progress towards nursing. As the first attempt to progress towards nursing, I became a health care assistant in operating theatres, and I worked there two and a half years. While I was working in operating theatres, I had an opportunity to become a trainee nursing associate and I have successfully completed my two years training and successfully registered with Nursing and midwifery Council as a registered nurse associate in January 2021 and practising as a nurse associate in a medical elderly care ward two tears. I also have two and a half years experience in general office administration, and I worked as an administration assistant in a nursing home. I am a very calm and well motivated person, so flexible, and a quick learner is also an effective team player. I am able to work under pressure, and I can adapt to any kind of environment and situation. Also, react quickly to any sudden changes in the situation. I am a trustworthy and reliable person. During my education and eleven and a half years work experience in England, I have gained strong skills in; person – centred approaches to care, delivering holistic and compassionate care, communication and interpersonal skills, organising and prioritising workload, ability to work on my own initiative and skills in supporting learning and assessment in practice. During my eight years of service in national health services, I have improved my people skills and how I interact with others. I have gained various skills through training and work experience in acute medical and surgical settings. I am confident that having practical knowledge in delivering care and clinical health care knowledge, my range of experiences, and personal aptitude has provided me with the perfect background to contribute to this role. However, I am passionate about elderly care and frailty. I am very interested in delivering nursing, therapeutic, and complex care for elderly people who live with frailty. Therefore I have successfully completed a course "Complex care for older adult living with frailty" at West London university in August 2021, which gave me a good understandings and confident in identify clinically frail older adult and assessment of their complex needs, and planning, management of care. I am fully aware of hard work, challenges and commitment required for working with frail older adults, if opportunity given with the right guidance, I will be able to accomplish and make a positive contribution to the trust. As an experienced, creative, innovative, and dedicated candidate with strong communication and organisation skills, I welcome the chance to meet with you to discuss my education and working skills. Excellent

Lavanya looked after my elderly mother-in-law for 4 weeks after a hip operation. She provided excellent care in helping my mother-in-law with personal hygiene, assisting to dress and wash in the mornings, offering advice and also encouragement to do the prescribed physio exercises. Lavanya provided us with a daily report of the time she spent at my mother-in-law's which we found particularly helpful. We are delighted with the care that Lavanya provided and we would thoroughly recommend Lavanya.
