I have worked with individuals with dementia, chronic health conditions, learning disability and mental health conditions in both their own homes and in care homes. I have provided different levels of support to match the individuals needs such ass assisting them with personal care, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning, taking their medication on time, and with any other administrative tasks that require support. As a result, I primarily have experience as a support worker, and I usually work on hourly rate during the day and have sometimes done overnight shifts. I have always desired to take care of others thus working the care industry has allowed me to provide a person-centered approach care where the individuals are adequately supported.
