I have knowledge and organisational skills in Managing the home including ensuring the service users home is a clean, safe, comfortable environment, which can include anything from preparing food, completing household chores, or completing admin tasks such as paying bills, booking GP appointments , administrating medication , liaising with families and healthcare professionals, shopping activities and posting letters etc. I am able to communicate written and verbally to service users who may be hard of hearing or visually impaired, and effectively engage with service users by building a positive professional, and trusting relationship. My empathy is to understand each service user’s goals by providing personalised care and support. I am flexible and respond to constant changing needs which I have gained through my past experience and up-to-date training. I am able to Work unusual hours and being available to attend to client’s needs outside of those hours, promoting consistent care. I have level 2, 3 , 4 in health & social care , up-date Moving and Handling training as well as a valid DBS .
