I believe the experience I have gained in these different settings has enabled me to become a more knowledgeable and compassionate carer with the ability to provide person centred care which is specific to the person under my care. I believe every individual has the right to be treated with respect and dignity whilst being supported to make informed choices which allow them to live an independent and meaningful life based on their preferences. I have been able to witness first hand how the lives of people under my care have been positively impacted and this has given me a great deal of satisfaction, knowing that I am making a difference and enabling them to enjoy life to the fullest.
