During this time I have gained a vast amount of knowledge which made me feel the need to increase my knowledge academically. I then gained a degree in Health & Social Care in which I received a first class honours. I thoroughly enjoy and feel that not only do people with a disability need support, but other people in society also need support and companionship due to different factors in their lives. I enjoy an array of activities and open to learning and experiencing new activities. Life is truly a box of chocolates so and I am open to trying all the flavours. Ultimately, giving my time to people who need and want it is very fulfilling for me, which brings such joy to me knowing that I am putting a genuine smile on someone’s face. I also understand the need to work in a person-centred way to deliver care and support as it is the only way to genuinely put a smile on someone’s face. This is because as a support or care provider you are meeting their needs by providing care and support the way the individual wishes. This way of working has proven to be beneficial to the individuals wellbeing and health outcomes. Please note, Live in rate is negotiable.
