I have been in challenging situations and am calm and resourceful and always patients with my clients. I have 4.5 years of experience as second lead in a SEN base in a secondary school in London. so I feel very comfortable and equipped to support children/young people on the Autism spectrum, or with Asperger's and ADHD. I supported students with behaviour and social interactions as well as with their school work and ran meetings with parents and external agencies. I ran small group interventions and worked with students 1:1 in areas they needed more support. I developed great relationships with the parents and this had incredible results on the child. I also ran restorative practice sessions to resolve conflict between students and/or students and staff. I have a background in Yoga with children teens/adults, Life coaching, massage, cooking and being a PA. This set of skills combined with being patient, kind, easy to get on with and not easily frazzled makes me a solid, resourceful and reliable support worker. I also have 3 years experience in care for the elderly and care for a person with physical disabilities. I am happy to discuss rates relative to hours and level of support and whether you want me to integrate Yoga or my special needs skills and experience.
