I started off my career as a carer as I cared for my dad who had a stroke that affected his health and mobility. I found joy in looking after him which led me to my goal of becoming a professional supporter worker. I love looking after and supporting people who have care needs and are not in the best position to care for themselves. I have experience working with clients who have suffered strokes, heart attacks, amputation and multiple surgeries, dementia, cancer patients, disability patients who are in wheelchairs, patients that are diagnosed with multiple types of diabetes. I have worked with children who suffer with chronic conditions and elderly patients. I’m a good listener and great at supporting families who need help and support. In my field of expertise my main goal is to always fulfil my clients needs but most importantly is for them to be happy with my work as a caregiver.
