I am level headed support worker/healthcare assistant who remains calm and effective in extremely difficult and stressful situations. Strong belief in importance of companionship and support in patient care. I have worked in a care home as a Care Assistant, Support Worker supporting Adults with Learning disability (supported living), domiciliary care & also worked with Young Children with Mental Health issues. I am comfortable doing personal care,using a hoist and have experience of working with clients that use catheters, this has been learned on the job no formal training certificates have been achieved. I am also willing to learn new skills to better suit the needs of clients. I love working in the healthcare setting as its a rewarding role & I get to make a difference in people’s lives. I am currently looking for extra hours to fit around my current job and the school run. I am available for 9.30 to 2.30pm Monday to Friday and I am looking for 2/3 clients minimum of 2 hours per visits or longer. I am also available for 2/3 nights per week and can be flexible on what nights I can do.
