As a result, I have gained enough experience that enable ...More I have worked in the care industry for 20yrs and during all these years, I have worked in different areas e.g. hospitals, learning disabilities homes, Nursing homes, Residential homes, Live-in-care, Care Provider in private homes (privately). As a result, I have gained enough experience that enable me to become a good care, to respect the clients confidentiality. I have a duty and responsibility to help promote individual independence and life skills. I am able to assist my clients with their day to day life e.g. attending doctor's appointments, outdoor activities, personal care, shopping, cooking, driving them to visit friends and families, cleaning the house, laundry and ironing. I would also help them to feel that they are valued and safe as part of the community, respect their wishes and dignity. I expect it might be challenging while trying to identify the proper ground to work on in terms of trust and confidence. I also expect to be positive and kind at all times in order to create a good relationship with the clients. In this way, I have learnt in previous jobs that being kind and positive works better. I am well trained to work with people with dementia, Parkinson's, MS and autism. I have a clean British driving licence and I can drive manual or automatic car
