Care: As a school guidance counsellor,it has been my duty to make sure that the need of my clients are meet at all time in order to promote effective counselling. Compassion: As a school guidance counsellor, it is ideal to sympathise with my clients by feeling their pain as if it is yours. Competence: School guidance counsellor must undertake a degree in the university before you qualify as a counsellor. Communication: This is a very essential part of every organisation, as a counsellor you must have a good command of English language in order to establish effective counselling session.
