I came to UK to work as a care assistant for the first time. Even though it was quite challenging for me in the first month, when I started to feel comfortable with the role and the clients I took care of, I was very happy and felt fulfilled with it. When I finished my first year I was promoted to be a Senior! I believe that my manager and colleagues saw that I have the skills and deserved that promotion for being so dedicated to my dear residents. I have a Bachelor's degree in English and Spanish and also some certificates related to the role of being a Health Care Assistant. I enjoy reading and learning new things, especially literature, Art, Culture and Philosophy. I also love music!! I studied music in my childhood and sometimes I like to sing and dance when I am alone ? I don' smoke and I embrace the Vegan Philosophy that avoid anything that comes from an animal, since I also love animals and respect them as sentient beings. As of September I would like to embrace a new challenge and work as a live-in carer because I prefer to pay my attention to other, because then I can have the time to listen to that person over a period of time and in a care home, sometimes you just cant. Even though I love my job, my personality is more suitable for a one to one care.
