As a Support Worker, I have had the experience working in dementia and nursing care, family care and supporting persons with autism, learning disability and eating disorders. My roles includes but not limited to:- 1.) Providing physical support which may include personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care or remove catheter and other healthcare needs, including routine checks and prompting or helping to administer medication; 2.) Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests, teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills; 3.) Supporting service users with eating disorder; 4.) Safeguarding service users from potential harm and abuse; and 5.) Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards. I hold a B.Eng. and a M.Tech.; I aspire to become a Registered Mental Health Nurse in the United Kindgom
