I am a mother of four and eldest child of six family is very important to me, I am a nurturer at heart and always happy to help those in need. I have recently finished my BA Hons degree Integrated Health Social care & Wellbeing. I have years of experience working in social housing and am able to identify issues and support needs relating to independent living and wellbeing. Such as equipment needed for disabilities and adaptations that may be needed around the home for health and safety I am able to liaise with the various departments that would be involved in assessment of needs both socially and medically I am a people person with communication skills such as listening and understanding with empathy and I love to have a friendly chat. I have a person centred approach and always happy to offer PA such as cooking, light household duties, assisting with taking medication, going to appointments, shopping, going out for short walks including use of mobility equipment. I am pet friendly and happy to make sure they are included at meal times.
