NW9 5NH 238502 Having mainly worked with children with disabilities, I believe that the experience I have gained over time is the reason I aspire to another, more professional career in the social health sector. To further my interest and experience in working with children and adults who are struggling in many situations, I completed a bachelor's degree in social health care. During this course I was able to gain valuable additional experiences that deepened my knowledge and made me realize that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I feel I have acquired more than all the skills needed to pursue a further career in this sector and I hope to learn more about helping those in need.

NW9 5WS 160612 I have 6 years experience in the Carer industry backed up by great training in moving & handling, food hygiene, Dementia care, medication administration & Oxygen administration. l have hoisting & sara stedy experience. l have catheter care experience. l have looked after a visually impaired client & supported her day to day mobility. l have been able to look after a client with physical disabilities and spinal code injury, l had to do manual bowel evacuation, support her with moving & handling using an overhead hoist & wheelchair assistance. l have also looked after dementia & Parkinson clients with mobility, incontinence, limited speech challenges & due to my patience & listening attitude plus my trainings & empathic experience in care, l am offering them great support. lnformally I have had a chance to look after my parents(in their 80s) for several years. Over these years, I have developed a compassionate approach and have great empathy for my clients. I am hardworking, very kind, a great listener, patient, and always able to work at my client's pace. I dare say cooking is one of my great passions, and I do it very well. I am always happy to prepare healthy meals in a clean environment for my clients. l have cared for a PSP client for 5 months & had to feed her, use nebuliser when struggling to swallow, hoisting her & supporting her in all her limited speech. I have worked as a live-in carer for several clients in their nineties with ■late dementia ■hoisting ■handled medication administration ■one was on oxgyen ■continence care ■personal care & companionship ■housework & cleaning■ cooking. I have trained & experience in using oxgyen cylinders & oxgyen condenser for my clients I have worked with several people with dementia. ln Sept 2022, I had a chance of working with a 90 year old lady with dementia and she had great challenges sleeping at night, so I had to patiently talk to her up to late in the night and slowing encourage her to bed, some times with no sleep but settled as much as possible. I have also worked with people with cerebral palsy and PEG feeding. In August 2022 l had a privilege of caring for a young girl (19years) while her family took off some time on holiday. I had to hoist her into bed and wheel chair, she was PEG feeding and l had to manage that using an infusion machine, I was responsible for all her bathes and hygiene care to ensure she was comfortable. I had to do all cooking & cleaning. Before becoming a carer, l trained in early years and used to work with young children. This experience boosted my caring ability and it made it easier for me to care for people of all ages. I love reading, cooking and baking. I look forward to your contact and I am sure I will be able to deliver a great caring service.
