NE9 6AE 224151 I qualified as a Registered Adult Nurse in May 2006, no longer pin registered. I gained my experience as a staff nurse firstly as a Staff nurse at the Freeman hospital while working on a busy Vascular Surgery ward & cared for patients receiving vascular surgery & this included bypass surgery, abdominal aorta aneurysm repair & leg amputations. I also was trained in vac therapy wound care dressing on open wounds. I then went on to further my career & work closer to home at Spire hospital caring for patients receiving Orthopaedic surgery e.g hip & knee replacements & also cared for patients receiving Spinal surgery. Following my mother becoming ill & having to care for her I took on a nurse role that involved working office hours so I could be able to care for my mother on a daily basis. After caring for my mother over the past couple of years I found that I would like to step away from my nursing role and become a carer.

SR5 3LR 135948 I have over 7 years experience working in care homes. This is because I enjoy assisting elderly, young and vulnerable people in areas they are not capable of because of my kindness and selfless nature. I enjoy listening to them and making them happy. I have had the opportunity to work with clients with celebral palsy, dementia and learning disabilities. My passion for care started in 2004- 2008, when I had to take care of my mum who was diagnosed of diabetes. This to an extent made me realise how passionate, caring, understanding and patient I could be with people. Since then I have found myself loving the health care sector.
