EX4 2BL 303617 Growing up i had the passion to care for the sick and people with special needs. This made me choose my career path in Nursing. I completed a Nursing degree in 2015 in Ghana. I care for people with disability, dementia, epilepsy and the general population. I developed a lot of interest in Nursing and caring because I realised that was what my heart desired. I looked after people in their homes especially the elderly as part time job. I realised that bringing smile on the faces of my clients gave me a sense of fulfilment which made me felt like I contribute significantly in my own way to humanity. I worked 6years with the Ghana health service and other non governmental organisations like Anessvad, Marie stopes, World health organisation as a volunteer providing HIV counselling and testing, searching cases of neglected tropical diseases and providing Family planning services. This exposure has made me acquire enough knowledge as a nurse and a carer in the past years. I have worked as a carer for 2years now in the UK working in private homes and care homes. I am Proactive and reliable multitasker with excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise patients need and coordinate daily basic care needs. I am Highly motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and passion for process improvement efforts. I am a family man when not working. I love kids. I use my leisure time for travelling, learning new skills, cooking and playing football. I am very jovial and easy going.

PL6 8LD 351278 I have worked in the care sector for over 22 years. I began my career as a Care Assistant in a nursing home, where I worked night shifts for around 10 years, which suited my family life at the time. I later progressed into an administrative role within the same home, while still remaining actively involved in hands-on care, working both day and night shifts and supporting wherever needed. I have always viewed my workplace as a second home. I genuinely love being around and supporting elderly people, whether that involves chatting and laughing with them, taking them out on trips, running errands, or helping with daily living and activities. I have received training across a wide range of needs and abilities. I have always built strong, positive relationships with residents and took great pride in seeing them happy and comfortable. I am passionate about providing care with dignity and respect, and I could never leave a shift without knowing I had given my all. I am highly organised, reliable, and punctual, and I take pride in being dependable. I consistently strive to make a positive difference to someone’s wellbeing each day and finish my shifts with a sense of fulfilment and a smile on my face. I would welcome the opportunity to work with those who choose to hire me and will always do my utmost to provide the highest standard of care and support.

PL4 6BW 193366 Kind, caring and hardworking. At least that’s how my previous clients, friends and family would describe me. I have 9 years experience in the care industry working and providing high levels of client centered care. I enjoy the social interactions, broadening my mind and getting to know my clients and their families on a more personal level as well as maintaining professionalism. I have a gcse (o-level) in health and social care as well as a level 3 diploma in adult care, although I would like the opportunity to help the younger generation (children and adolescents) also, as I can relate to all ages of life. I specialize in complex dementia needs and have the most experience in atypical and typical Parkinsons and Lewy bodies. I have worked a lot with motor neurone disease and in palliative care. From my past clients I have felt honored working in end of life palliative care. The first time I saw death, when I was a child, I felt a little scared, but now I have come to realize that death is inevitable - from my time working in the ambulance service - and getting to spend those last moments caring for someone is a beautiful as well as very sad part of life. I enjoy driving and have a clean driving license and enjoy both planning and taking clients out for scenic trips and going to national trust places for them to enjoy the breath taking views, smells and experiences. I was just leaving school when I got my first job as a carer. I thought I'd try it out and see how it went because my mother and I used to visit a care home every Friday afternoon to see a friend. I tried it and the only feedback I've ever gotten is thanks, gratitude and positivity, so I soon realized that this was what I'm good at so why not continue. I love to ski! In fact, it’s my favourite hobby so much so that when I was 7 yrs old I had a skiing accident and fractured my knee cap. (I still ski now in case you wondered.) I am a pianist of 18 yrs and in my own space I can play pieces such as ‘Moonriver’, ‘Canon in D’, ‘make me a channel of your peace’ ect. I like both classical and modern music. Really sorry, but I think Mozart is overrated although I have been to the house in which he was born in Salzburg, Austria. Currently I am in the process of updating my training certificates, until this is completed I am looking for clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting or personal care. Please get in touch, I’d love to hear from you. ?
