SW11 2AH 221617 My name is Suzana S, and I am a highly experienced home carer with a passion for helping others lead independent lives. As a female carer with extensive experience in the field, I have worked with individuals dealing with a range of conditions including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound patients, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression. I am well-versed in providing essential care services such as bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. Although I cannot drive and do not own a car, I am more than capable of providing reliable and thorough care to my clients. While my skills and experience make me an excellent choice for live-in, hourly, or overnight care, my passion for this work goes far beyond the technical aspects. I genuinely enjoy engaging with my clients and building meaningful relationships with them. When I'm not caring for others, I enjoy spending my time engaging in various hobbies such as walking, playing card games, cooking and baking, doing puzzles, and decorating. I also have a love for animals and have no preferences when it comes to pets - I am comfortable around cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my caring nature, friendly demeanor, and helpful attitude. I truly believe that everyone deserves to be cared for with compassion and understanding. My motivation as a carer stems from a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives and help them maintain their independence for as long as possible.

SW15 4NG 281575 I am a patient, hard-working, and good listener with over 3 years of experience as a carer. My approach is compassionate and thoughtful—I take the time to listen to my clients, allowing me to understand their interests and help them enjoy their hobbies. My caring nature, combined with a dedicated work ethic, makes a positive difference in the lives of those I care for. I have worked with clients in the early stages of dementia, chronic conditions, and early to advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease. I am experienced in supporting clients with both passive and active exercises prescribed by physiotherapists, providing companionship, home help, and personal care services. I provide full personal care for bedridden clients, particularly those recovering from strokes or in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s. I can also support clients during hospital stays, assisting with personal grooming, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning, medication management, and other administrative tasks. I enjoy accompanying clients on gentle walks in the park or sitting together at home, sharing a conversation or reading. I typically work on an hourly basis, but I am also available for overnights and respite care as needed. All arrangements are negotiable. With over eight years of experience as a qualified oversea-consultant doctor in A&E, I am currently preparing for the General Medical Council registration exams. Working as a carer allows me to apply my medical knowledge and caregiving skills meaningfully during this time. I am comfortable working around pets, as long as hygiene procedures align with my clients' needs. In my spare time, I volunteer for a charity. I am keen on sports, such as tennis, both watching and playing, running, workouts. Recently I had a beginner rowing/sculling course. I also have skills in knitting and lace making. I enjoy painting, reading, playing board games, such as backgammon, Chinese checkers. I love theatre, musicals, and museum visits, with the Natural History Museum being a personal favourite. Healthy eating and preparing nutritious meals are passions of mine, and I am always eager to learn and explore new interests. If you think I could help you, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible and would be happy to assist. Thank you.

SW1V 4AU 85828 As a person with extensive experience in caring I have come to understand that having the ability to deal with people; not just an ability to get along with them is vitally important and it makes a lot of difference in their wellbeing. I deploy an empathy-based approach and authenticity when dealing with any expected or unexpected difficulties of my duty as a carer. I am proactive with a professional attitude enhanced by more than 10 years of practical experience working as a Support Worker and Carer. I have always been keen to develop personally and professionally and as the result, I undertook many Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training to mention a few: *Empathy and Knowledge of Others , Thinking about Oneself and Others, Aggression, Responsibility, and Self-harm. These trainings were organized jointly by Oxford University and Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation. If you think I will meet your caring expectations, please get in touch and I'll reply as soon as I can. Thank you. SW6 7UB 1070 Hi, my name is Joanne and I have been in the care industry for over 9 years. I became a carer from a personal experience. I have a slight disability with my arm and have limited use of it but this does not stop me working and caring for others in a professional way and am still able to use hoists and provide personal care plus a number of other duties. I have managed to follow my passion regardless of my own disability, which is supporting clients live independently in their own homes. I have experience caring for clients in residential homes, nursing homes in the community doing door to door care and I have also provided live-in care also. I have always had a passion for care and looking after people, I have always wanted to do care from a young age ever since I started helping my mum care for my grandma who suffered from a mental health illness. I also get on well with people and I am always here to provide companionship and support. I am often told that I have a great sense of humour.

It was not something I'd imagined while studying computer science at Cambridge. Many years were spent in the tech industry, but that career did not give me any personal satisfaction. While living abroad 20 years ago, I was struck by a car whilst walking on the pavement. As a result, I spent months in hospital and in recovery for the better part of a year. I became a carer two years ago, and I draw upon this experience and channel my empathy to all the men I look after. In the years I've been a carer, my personal approach to care-giving has yielded significant results. To give one example: the connection and trust I built with one 93-year old gentleman led him to stop sleeping on the living room sofa and start sleeping in his hospital bed in his bedroom for the first time in years. He'd been very resistant, but now sees the benefits: he cited having a good night's sleep and less back pain. Preparing fresh food for him also made a big difference, and he is now eating at least one full meal a day. In so many small ways, I know I am making a difference - from ensuring their hearing aids or internet connection are working to connecting with their friends or medical assistants, my approach can best be summed up as personal, tailored, and empathetic. I principally serve SW15, but please call me if you are slightly outside that area and I believe that I can help you.
