W4 2RD 280814 I'm a devoted mum of three, and I've been working as a senior carer for the past four years. During this time, I've provided excellent care to a diverse group of clients, demonstrating my unwavering commitment and empathy. I've built a solid foundation in adult social care through the NCFE CACHE LEVEL 3 Certificate in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care and am now looking to enhance my skills with a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care. Outside of work, my weekends are dedicated to caring for my elderly mother. I deeply understand the importance of family and the value of intergenerational support. I ensure that my mother receives the attention and assistance she deserves during our precious time together. This commitment not only reinforces my caregiving skills but also highlights the personal connection and empathy I bring to my role as a caregiver. Balancing professional responsibilities with fulfilling familial duties is a testament to my dedication to the well-being of those entrusted to my care.

SW6 7UB 1070 Hi, my name is Joanne and I have been in the care industry for over 9 years. I became a carer from a personal experience. I have a slight disability with my arm and have limited use of it but this does not stop me working and caring for others in a professional way and am still able to use hoists and provide personal care plus a number of other duties. I have managed to follow my passion regardless of my own disability, which is supporting clients live independently in their own homes. I have experience caring for clients in residential homes, nursing homes in the community doing door to door care and I have also provided live-in care also. I have always had a passion for care and looking after people, I have always wanted to do care from a young age ever since I started helping my mum care for my grandma who suffered from a mental health illness. I also get on well with people and I am always here to provide companionship and support. I am often told that I have a great sense of humour.

SW15 4NG 281575 I am a patient, hard-working, and good listener with over 3 years of experience as a carer. My approach is compassionate and thoughtful—I take the time to listen to my clients, allowing me to understand their interests and help them enjoy their hobbies. My caring nature, combined with a dedicated work ethic, makes a positive difference in the lives of those I care for. I have worked with clients in the early stages of dementia, chronic conditions, and early to advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease. I am experienced in supporting clients with both passive and active exercises prescribed by physiotherapists, providing companionship, home help, and personal care services. I provide full personal care for bedridden clients, particularly those recovering from strokes or in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s. I can also support clients during hospital stays, assisting with personal grooming, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning, medication management, and other administrative tasks. I enjoy accompanying clients on gentle walks in the park or sitting together at home, sharing a conversation or reading. I typically work on an hourly basis, but I am also available for overnights and respite care as needed. All arrangements are negotiable. With over eight years of experience as a qualified oversea-consultant doctor in A&E, I am currently preparing for the General Medical Council registration exams. Working as a carer allows me to apply my medical knowledge and caregiving skills meaningfully during this time. I am comfortable working around pets, as long as hygiene procedures align with my clients' needs. In my spare time, I volunteer for a charity. I am keen on sports, such as tennis, both watching and playing, running, workouts. Recently I had a beginner rowing/sculling course. I also have skills in knitting and lace making. I enjoy painting, reading, playing board games, such as backgammon, Chinese checkers. I love theatre, musicals, and museum visits, with the Natural History Museum being a personal favourite. Healthy eating and preparing nutritious meals are passions of mine, and I am always eager to learn and explore new interests. If you think I could help you, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible and would be happy to assist. Thank you.

It was not something I'd imagined while studying computer science at Cambridge. Many years were spent in the tech industry, but that career did not give me any personal satisfaction. While living abroad 20 years ago, I was struck by a car whilst walking on the pavement. As a result, I spent months in hospital and in recovery for the better part of a year. I became a carer two years ago, and I draw upon this experience and channel my empathy to all the men I look after. In the years I've been a carer, my personal approach to care-giving has yielded significant results. To give one example: the connection and trust I built with one 93-year old gentleman led him to stop sleeping on the living room sofa and start sleeping in his hospital bed in his bedroom for the first time in years. He'd been very resistant, but now sees the benefits: he cited having a good night's sleep and less back pain. Preparing fresh food for him also made a big difference, and he is now eating at least one full meal a day. In so many small ways, I know I am making a difference - from ensuring their hearing aids or internet connection are working to connecting with their friends or medical assistants, my approach can best be summed up as personal, tailored, and empathetic. I principally serve SW15, but please call me if you are slightly outside that area and I believe that I can help you.

W12 7BB 44173 I have had over fifteen years of experience as a private carer in London for the elderly, frail, unwell and those with disabilities. My responsibilities have included companionship, shopping, organising doctor/dentist/eye appointments/business meetings, and helping my clients maintain their social lives by arranging lunches and gatherings. Some clients just want company and a listening ear without feeling they are a ‘burden’ to their friends and family. I oversee the smooth running of their households, including any additional care (e.g. nursing) and admin, making sure bills are paid and filed. I am committed to helping my clients have a great quality of life. With the right help in place, I like to think getting older should be a pleasure not a disability. I have trained with Florence Academy and have qualified in Care Certificate module 1-15. I have also trained in learning disabilities mental capacity equality diversity dignity in care, and many other training courses in this field. Many thanks
