I am a very experienced carer. Excellent command of English as my first language, albeit with a South African accent, which I haven't lost, despite being back in the UK for 20 years! I've been involved in caring in a number of ways for 10 years. During this time I have looked after people from birth to over 100 years old, the oldest being 103, all with a variety of challenges, disabilities, personal quirks and individual requirements. I was a foster carer for children with global development delay, autism, blindness, learning difficulty as well as those suffering from neglect, abuse and trauma. I went on to do live in-care and have experience in advanced dementia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, I also looked after a lady with paralysis from her neck down. I was involved in rehabilitation at a private hospital for those with brain injury and more recently did domiciliary care and worked in an upmarket residential home for assisted living. I am punctual, reliable, honest, caring, patient, calm and respectful. I can cook, have a good understanding of nutrition, allergy requirements and dietary needs. After a few months since that lady was pass away I’ve been found different situation which is a young 32 years old boy which an Autism, and the same time I’ve been found and worked with very nice elderly lady which provided in this App “Curam Care” this was my very recently job .
