SL0 9BJ 46633 I am a British female in my mid fifties, and have over 20 years experience working in care. I have worked as a live in carer, respite carer, and for seven years I worked as a care supervisor for an agency. I have vast experience in all areas of dementia and Alzheimer's, Huntington's, MND, MS, strokes, Parkinson's, the autism spectrum, mental health, Angelman syndrome, plus other conditions. I cared for my father who suffered from Motor Neurone Disease, and my mother who suffered from Parkinson's. I have many certificates and have attended seminars on most of the above. I also have a car, a current Advanced DBS certificate and indemnity insurance. I am registered with NACAS. I am hard working, very patient, empathetic and enjoy making peoples lives that little bit better through care and kindness. I have years of experience in palliative care and suprapubic catheter care. Unfortunately, I am very allergic to animals (I have mild asthma) so sadly, I cannot go into a house with pets, nor a house where pets will be visiting whilst I am there. I do apologise for this. I would love to come to meet you and bring my certificates etc at any time, so that if you were to need a carer at short notice in the future, you will already have met me. Hoping to hear from you, Christina (Tina)

I am deeply passionate about helping others, especially those who are vulnerable or in need of extra support. The personal connections that develop in this role allow me to provide not just physical assistance, but also emotional care and companionship, which I believe is crucial for someone’s well-being. I am naturally compassionate and patient, and I find fulfilment in creating a positive environment where people feel comfortable, safe, and respected. As a caregiver, I can use my empathy and attention to detail to ensure that those I care for maintain their dignity and quality of life, regardless of their age or condition. It is a role that aligns with my values of kindness, respect, and service to others. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunity for continuous learning and personal growth in this field. Every person has unique needs, and working as a caregiver challenges me to develop new skills, adapt quickly, and improve my problem-solving abilities. Ultimately, being a caregiver allows me to give back in a profound way and help individuals live with greater independence and joy.

UB10 9JX 168001 Hello my name is Emma. I have been working in care for the last four years and have recently be awarded the ultimate high performance within the care team award 2022. One of the most rewarding part of care for me is being able to make the care I provide person centred, getting to each client individually. Within this role I have specialised my skills for domiciliary care which includes providing personal care, the application of medications, cookery and companionship care. I have also completed qualification in basic first aid, manual handling and a first aid course with the Red Cross. My personal hobbies include enjoying days out with my friends and family for example days out to Longleat Safari Park, shopping trip and meals out. I also love music and holidays away I enjoy talking about these topics and more. I would say I truly enjoy helping people and I am friendly, bubbly person that is easy-to get along with.

SL2 5TY 268547 In 2021, at the peak of the COVID19 pandemic, I decided to undertake a health care assistant course. Coming from a finance academic background, this was a major shift from any other course I had done in my life. However, it was necessitated by the need to volunteer at a nursing home which had recently opened in my community. I come from a culture where we highly value the elders in our community, and the chance to interact with them, attend to their daily needs and ensure they are able to carry on with life as comfortably as possible was my driving force. This is only something I was during on my free time; little did I know that it would become a full-time job. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work as a health care assistant in various capacities. I have worked in nursing homes, home-based care, worked as a support worker for persons with learning disabilities and also worked as a mental health support worker in a mental & addictions hospital. I love to treat anyone who is under my care with utmost respect and dignity, no different than what I would like any of my close family to be treated by a carer. I customize my care approach based on the client`s specific needs, because I understand that we are all different. In instances where the client already has a care plan, I strictly adhere to the care plan. Finally, I always listen to those placed under my care; it does not matter if they have severe dementia, or mental illness. We all want to be listened to, and one deserves to be patronized. I`m highly experienced in manual handling. Having worked in various nursing homes, I have come across a wide variety of hoists, specially customized to each service user based on their needs. Moreover, my years working in both home care and nursing homes has provided me with loads of experience when it comes to helping service users with their nutrition and dietary needs. On the other hand, working as a HCA in mental health and addictions treatment program, has been life changing for me. It has taught me to be patient and empathetic, and the realization that sometimes all people need is someone who will give a listening ear without passing judgment. I`m always eager to learn new skills, and working at a new station or with a new client is always an opportunity to learn something new. Furthermore, I`m always keen to learn new things in my role as a health care assistant so that I can continue providing the best service to my clients. I`m flexible to work with both male and female clients.

I am currently still working as a live-in-carer one of the best care agencies in the uk. I am very happy doing this job. that's because my mother is also about 98 years old. even if my mother is not with me, I can get that happiness by looking the elderly people. Thank you

SL2 1DH 260611 Helping others look at life in a brighter way brings me happiness as I know I am helping someone feel better. I enjoy listening to older people, I am a very patient person and am always happy to work at my clients pace, following their lead. Along with this another skill I have that makes me a great carer is my passion. This is perhaps the most important quality a care worker can exhibit. While skills and training are paramount to maintain high working standards, it’s passion for helping those in need that makes the real difference. I hope to work with some great clients Please get in contact if you feel I would be a great carer. Thank you
