NR32 1PS 268893 Hi, My name is Romina and I am originally from Philippines ,living in UK for 15yrs now, although I now work with clients all over the UK. After working for many years as health care assistant at the nursing home and hospitals, I decided to broaden my horizons within the living in social care sector. I now work as a self-employed live-in carer for 5 yrs. I work in a person-centred way with a broad range of clients and conditions, including: dementia, Parkinson's, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental illness, palliative care and end of life care. I provide practical and emotional support to help people live a safe and independent life in their own home and community. This includes medication administration, personal care, continence care, moving and handling using hoists and other aids, cooking, cleaning and of course companionship. I am also happy to support clients to go on holiday at home.I have an NVQ2 and NVQ3 in social care, as well as a care certificate. I am fully vaccinated, including boosters. My preferred employment type is self employed live-in care. Note: My rate includes fare and food and it's negotiable also. Can do 1 week on 1 week off/2 weeks on 2 weeks off/10 days on 4 days off.

IP20 0JB 2352 I am a woman who is loyal, trustworthy, honest, and also firm but fair. I am an advocate for justice and safeguarding the vulnerable. I have a patient, caring and kind temperament, with a fun sense of humour. My various aspects of employment and life experience have lent themselves to my becoming a conscientious, professional and dedicated housekeeper/carer with high standards and good culinary skills. During my children’s young teenage years, I became a foster carer for abused teenagers, which I found very challenging but rewarding. In this time, I undertook an NVQ1 course in ceramics and pursued my hobbies of arts and crafts, namely glass-painting and floristry, which I promoted to all the children in my care. As my children furthered their education, it seemed to me a natural progression to become a carer. I highly value my job choice and it is and has been my privilege to look after people in all aspects of their required care, whether it be community, companion or palliative.

IP17 1AL 280107 Live in care Availability: 30 April 2025 My passion is taking care of you!! l love looking after people, especially when I can see that the care I am giving is making them happier and healthier. I am able to care for male or female clients. I am very down to earth, kind, caring, and patient, I am very accommodating when it comes to sharing the same space, this includes cats and dogs as they bring so much love to a home. I have had the privilege of working with clients that have just come out of hospital and then recover, COPD clients with mobility issues, Cerebral Palsy client that was wheelchair bound, early Alzheimer's, back injuries, and catheter clients. The equipment I have used includes wheelchairs, walkers, stand rota, return, slip sheets, and hospital beds. Before I started caring, I taught children with learning difficulties, so am very used to, in this case, dealing with multiple medical associations, including NHS, District Nurses, and A & E visits. I have learnt so much from the medical profession and always looking to enhance my skill set. As mentioned before, my aim is to keep my clients healthy and happy, this includes god home cooked meals, ensuring a healthy diet, daily exercise, like walking or going to specific classes at the gym, and you will always have a hygienely clean home to come back to. Community and connection with people is priority, and I encourage my clients to join in community activities, like markets, programmes at the library, going to Church, and at least tea with a friend or family member once a week Carers Requirements: Length of work - preferably 4 - 6 weeks and I insist on a 2 week settling in period, with new clients. A daily break of 2 hours, normally between 2pm and 4pm. The client will need to cover travel cost, as I work all around the UK and Whales, however, I do have a valid driver's licence, but not my own car, and as long as I am covered by clients insurance, I can drive a automatic or manual car. I look forward to meeting you and caring for you.

IP17 1AL 272427 Hi, I'm Rita, originally from Hungary. I'm 43 years old and have 10 years experience working as a live-in carer in the UK. I have a lot of experience with spinal care so that would be my first choice, but I have many years experience in elderly care too. Please see details in the condition experience section. The only thing I do not do is dementia/Alzheimer care. I am reliable, calm, kind and a fast learner. In my free time I like to walk, exercise, watch a good movie and read.

NR6 6GE 296693 I am a caring friendly person, I know and empathise with how it feels when you lose your independence and your health declines, it’s not easy and you would rather do things for yourself but unfortunately you have to rely on others. I think if I do care for people now then later on in life when it will be my turn to be looked after I’ll have kind, nice carers. It’s not easy to find carers who care .Loneliness is hard and it makes a difference to have someone to talk to to share things with to be able to socialise, your health may be declined but you are still living and you want to enjoy life, activities and to socialise. I believe that for families it’s very important to find someone you can trust, building trust is paramount with client and families, no one wants to have a different carer everyday of the week, they wouldn’t know how to look after you. It takes time and it’s not easy to let new people in your life so finding a trustworthy carer is crucial. One day we all will need care, so when I do the job I try to do it how I wish someone will do it for me. It has to be a person centered and unique to your needs, likes and dislikes. I will be there to support you mentally and physically. I care and I take pride in my job. I always work with client and families to provide outstanding care. I have worked with elderly and with people with learning disabilities and I have the experience to do a great job but I am also keen to learn and adapt to clients support needs, I am hard working and reliable and mostly caring .
