NG4 3RP 65984 I am a passionate and experienced carer. I have worked as a carer, in different care organisations, for the past 16 years. I enjoy caring because it enables me share my little with people, in order for them to live the life they desire even when life seems not favourable. I am a dedicated, enthusiastic, kind and compassionate carer. I provide person centred care for clients with different care needs, ranging from frail elderly with dementia, anxiety disorder and depression. Clients with multiple sclerosis, eg, feeding, tracheostomy, stoma bag and catheter care needs have benefited from the standard and quality care I provide with empathy. I am experienced in providing personal care, dressing and undressing, oral care and feeding, moving and handling, prompting for medication administration. Shopping and cooking, providing companionship and engaging clients in meaningful conversations, prompting to engage in stimulating activities of choice at clients best interests. I promote equality and diversity. I respect the privacy and choices of my clients and promote their dignity. I maintain health and safety as required by my clients and follow procedures. I promote and maintain infection control as required at all times. I am COVID aware and have had double vaccination. I am a good team player, not a perfect person but a good listener, ready to learn from others and maintain good communication. I maintain confidentiality at all time. I write legibly and give detailed report. I am a people person, love singing and take pride in cleaning. I'm always positive about life and love to transfer this to my clients. I am a little person but very strong. I have up to date mandatory training. I look forward to a favourable response.

LE67 8RE 56075 I have worked in care for the majority of my working life and the short time I wasn't working in care I was a customer service advisor. I've also been a respite carer for County Council for 18 years alongside my day jobs. I have worked in most areas of care and for the past nine years with complex clinical adults and children. I am a registered volunteer for the children's charity "Make a Wish" and for the past two years I have taken part in there DISNEY WISH event. I came runner up in Leicester Mercury palliative carer of the year in 2019 after being nominated by a family member of I lady I gave palliative care to. I have very good people skills, I'm calm and patient but am also bubbly and chatty. I'm trained in epilepsy, peg/NJ feeds, medication, rescue medication, airway management, suction, epilepsy, catheter care and challenging behaviour. I enjoy cooking all kinds of food but my speciality would have to be a Sunday roast or anything Italian. I love animals and I'm more than happy to work in a home that has pets. NVQ level 3 almost completed.

NG24 4QN 252086 Having worked as a living carer for more than 8 years, has allowed me to gain experience by working with clients with very different needs.   I have worked with clients that needed support with blindness, tetraplegia, cerebral pulse, Parkinson's, dementia early, and late stage, palliative care, accident rehabilitation, strokes, stoma care, peg feeding, cancer, wheelchair use, driving, vulnerable adults and other more general conditions where care was needed. What I like most about working as a living carer is that I can provide high quality of care and support that enables my client to enjoy life living independently in their own home. I am an excellent driver and I hold a clean full UK driving licence with no points or convictions. I am also a very good cook, and I really enjoy cooking.  I can prepare meals for more than one person at a time, and if you are married, or if you would like to meet with friends or family it would be a pleasure for me being able to cook for you and your family seeing you together sharing in the best of company. Sometimes I have traveled abroad with my clients to go on holidays, visit their family, and once to go to a wedding. And If you need to go abroad as well as English I also speak Spanish, Catalan, basic Italian, and basic Chinese Mandarin. And I can drive LHD or RHD vehicles, manual or automatic. I can provide company, and I am also a good listener, time keeper, and organised and tidy and always keen to follow instructions. I love animals, and If you have pets, or other animals, I am more than happy to help in any way I can. I can work for a short length of time, and for longer periods, from a week or a few days to up to 3 months at a time, and then I usually have a break for a week or two. You may find that my rates are a bit higher than other carers, but you will notice the difference in the quality of care I provide and in the level of commitment I put in everything I do and the peace of mind that it gives. Please feel free to ask me anything you would like to know, as I always try to be flexible, respond promptly and adapt in every way I can. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile bio. I would really love to hear from you.

LE3 8NF 70919 I have been a carer throughout my life. Born as the elder of the two girls in a family of 9 meant responsibilities of taking care of my siblings from the word 'go'. I took care of my younger cousins too, at one time I had 10 children to take care of at the age of 18, one of which was 6 months old. That was hard but I managed it even in a language foreign to me. This was in Botswana in 1978 where my uncle lived and I came from Zimbabwe. I had a scholarship to train as a fashion cutter and designer in Germany between 1979 and 1983. During my free hours and weekends I took care of a 67 year old lady who needed help with cleaning the biggest mansion I ever set foot into. That was fun. I escorted her to shopping and sometimes to hospital appointments in a taxi. I later years during the AIDS epidermic in the late 80's and early 90's, I took care of several victims especially on my husbands side. It was heartbreaking to experience the anguish of the affected families. I arrived in the UK during very turbulent political times in Zimbabwe and was accepted as an asylum seeker just after the turn of the new millennium. I started working as a carer beginning of 2002 and was with the same company untill 2010. Besides this company I also worked with several care urgencies during the same time. I also did a degree in Business Information Systems completing in June 2010 and failed to get a job in the field due to the great economic slump of those years. I continued gaining loads of experience in care, besides acquiring NVQ level 3 in Health & Social care. In 2015 I went to Sweden to do a MSc in Business Intelligence at Darlana University at Borlange town. I did not finish the challenging training but rather learnt the Swedish language and was fluent enough to work under the Borlänge town council in their big nursing homes. What a massive experience that was. I got acquainted with almost all sorts of ailments affecting the elderly, besides a wide range of equipment and super training. I relocated back home to England end of 2019 after getting a job as live-in-carer with TheGoodCareGroup. I had excellent training with them and have been working as a live in carer with them eversince. The list of all my capabilities is on my profile. I can manage patients with almost anything, best of all "End of life care". I did that a lot in Sweden. Most of all I have dealt with all stages of dementia care. I am reliable, caring, fun and companionable. I am educated and can discuss any subject intelligently. I can coach the elderly in using the computer. I love to attend church services and I usually go to church saturday because I am a 7th Day Adventist Christian. I am a very fast learner, flexible and interested especially in anything educational. I can cook fairly well besides I can follow recipes very well. I am a top notch housekeeper. For me tidiness and cleanliness are like a religion. I love health eating and mostly eat vegetarian. I love the gym and can try any equipment in the gym.

DE11 7EZ 298236 I think I am a great Care Professional because I am compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing the best support to those in my care. I take the time to understand the needs and preferences of the person I’m assisting and aim to make their day comfortable, enjoyable, and fulfilling. A typical day for me as a Care Professional would start with a warm greeting and helping with any morning routines, such as getting dressed or preparing breakfast. Throughout the day, I ensure they stay active and engaged, whether it’s by going for a walk, enjoying a hobby, or having meaningful conversations. I’m also attentive to their health needs, ensuring medications are taken on time and meals are prepared with care. I strive to create a positive and supportive environment, treating every person with the respect and dignity they deserve. My goal is to make each day better and brighter for the individuals I care for.

DE6 3BQ 299518 I am a compassionate, dedicated individual who believes that every day offers an opportunity to bring joy, comfort, and a touch of creativity to those around me. My warm personality is complemented by a diverse set of hobbies that enrich my life and those I care for. I love curling up with a good book to explore new ideas, experimenting in the kitchen to create nourishing meals, enjoying peaceful walks that remind me to appreciate life’s simple pleasures, and engaging in board games that spark laughter and thoughtful conversation. Professionally, although I have been in care for less than a year back home and about three years here in the UK where I have worked in live in care, elderly supported living and domiciliary care in the community. My personal journey has deeply prepared me for this work. I have devoted myself to caring for a family member battling prostate cancer and early-stage dementia a role that has taught me resilience, empathy, and the profound impact of compassionate care. A day with me is filled with attentive listening, creative engagement, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those around me, ensuring that each moment is met with kindness and thoughtful support. I am currently learning to drive and I anticipate to have this passed towards the end of the year. I am currently looking for live in clients as I enjoy delivering that one to one care, I am happy to travel throughout the UK as long as travelling expenses are covered one way by my clients. When starting with a new client I prefer to have a settling in period after this time I discuss with my client/clients family members the period of care I can safely deliver as this depends on the clients condition. On my time off I can also offer sleeping nights shifts within my local area of Ashbourne. I am happy to arrange a Curam video call where we can discuss you care requirements in more detail.
