NG24 4QN 252086 Having worked as a living carer for more than 8 years, has allowed me to gain experience by working with clients with very different needs.   I have worked with clients that needed support with blindness, tetraplegia, cerebral pulse, Parkinson's, dementia early, and late stage, palliative care, accident rehabilitation, strokes, stoma care, peg feeding, cancer, wheelchair use, driving, vulnerable adults and other more general conditions where care was needed. What I like most about working as a living carer is that I can provide high quality of care and support that enables my client to enjoy life living independently in their own home. I am an excellent driver and I hold a clean full UK driving licence with no points or convictions. I am also a very good cook, and I really enjoy cooking.  I can prepare meals for more than one person at a time, and if you are married, or if you would like to meet with friends or family it would be a pleasure for me being able to cook for you and your family seeing you together sharing in the best of company. Sometimes I have traveled abroad with my clients to go on holidays, visit their family, and once to go to a wedding. And If you need to go abroad as well as English I also speak Spanish, Catalan, basic Italian, and basic Chinese Mandarin. And I can drive LHD or RHD vehicles, manual or automatic. I can provide company, and I am also a good listener, time keeper, and organised and tidy and always keen to follow instructions. I love animals, and If you have pets, or other animals, I am more than happy to help in any way I can. I can work for a short length of time, and for longer periods, from a week or a few days to up to 3 months at a time, and then I usually have a break for a week or two. You may find that my rates are a bit higher than other carers, but you will notice the difference in the quality of care I provide and in the level of commitment I put in everything I do and the peace of mind that it gives. Please feel free to ask me anything you would like to know, as I always try to be flexible, respond promptly and adapt in every way I can. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile bio. I would really love to hear from you. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

LN6 0LT 5401 I had worked with elderly people and children. I worked with learning disability and mental health in a home, where I used to look after elderly people assisting them with bathing, using the toilet. dressing and undressing feeding assisting with mobility and assisting to communicate and encouraging their physical development and independence. Being a carer, I care very much about people, I had worked with people assisting them and I am still working with people, all my life has always been working with people. As a live in carer, I really love caring, assisting those who are unable to live independently because they are unable to perform basic day-to-day activities and run their household adequately. Basic day-to-day activities that are important for living independently like: getting in and out of bed, getting dressed and undressed, moving around, walking, eating and drinking, assisting with medication, using the toilet, bathing etc. Also, encouraging their independence and promoting their interest. Having been working with elderly people for a long time has also taught me how to respect people’s choices and treat each person as an individual without being judgemental. I see my clients as people and not just because it is a job. My duties also include maintaining all day to day report in line with the client’s care plan in the care report book. Maintaining regular communication with the branch manager and care leaders. Attending team meetings and undergoing trainings. Managing workload by working under instructions and own initiative and encouraging client’s independence. I am patience, kinds, positive, and tolerant. It also takes compassion, empathy, dedication and a non-judgemental attitude. I have also found, with many clients, that it helps to be a good home cook! These are the most important attributes of caring. I can take things one at a time and can work towards goals no matter how long it takes I will still be patient and appreciative. I am a very understanding person having brought up my two boys single handedly, I understand children’s feeling and their behaviour, I am also very empathetic I can put people in my shoes. I do not give up easily, I am perseverance I can hang in there no matter how tough it takes to achieve something. I know that it may take long to get something done, but one will get there in the end. I am flexible and adaptable, I can learn new things, experience new situations and I am prepared to have days that don’t always turn out has planned I love reading, cooking, music and meeting people. I hold a current DBS. I am willing to travel to any part of the country as a live carer. I could also work locally, if I was offered long shift of 10 - 12 hours per shift. Unfortunately due to allergy, I am unable to look after pets. I have a driving licence, but I am not driving at moment, because I am working on doing a refresher course. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

NG31 9RA 26010 I have had extensive experience of working in the Health Sector, for over 15 years. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, day centres and in private homes as a live in carer. Having such diverse exposure, I am someone who is confident in what I do when it comes to caring for people with different ailments. I have had experience and training to work with vulnerable adults, those who suffer from Alzheimers, Dementia, Parkinson's, Diabetes, just to mention a few. I am comfortable with offering personal care and assisting. I enjoy cooking and am capable of making wholesome meals (British meals such as shepherd's pie, casseroles, fishcakes, toad in the hole, apple crumble, just a few to mention) and willing to learn. My experience in dealing with various multi-agencies in the healthcare sector has ensured that the people I look after are getting the adequate help available for example liaising with the Occupational Health Workers for equipment that makes life manageable and restoring needed independence. To enhance my skill as a Carer, I attained a qualification in National Vocational Qualification in Health and Social Care Level 3. I also have a full driving licence, and a car is needed, which helps to make travelling to appointments or days out much easier. I have a good interpersonal skills and communication skills, am proficient in English Language and willing to learn new words in order to enrich communication. I am a genuinely patient and caring person who is good at putting other people's needs first and concerned about other people's welfare. This allows me to be able to put the needs and preferences of the person I will be caring for first and ensuring that their voice is heard whichever way possible. I have a dry sense of humour sometimes but I have the ability to remain professional at the same time. I enjoy watching TV, going out for walks and visiting garden centres, going through photos and listening to stories of memories that means something to someone, cooking and gardening. Although I do not have much exposure to pets, my experience of working with one client who had a dog, a friendly Cocker Spaniel made me to be open minded to the possibility of having a pet around me. I enjoy going to church when time and opportunity allows. My Christian values helps me to be a grounded, honest and to be a flexible person who is also open minded to the view that not everyone has to share same values with me and ability to respect that. This flexibility extended to other spheres as well, when its required. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

Since 2019, I have been working exclusively as a nurse, focusing on delivering frontline care in various healthcare settings. I am caring, kind, and approachable, offering bedside support within NHS hospitals and nursing homes, as well as home settings. My experience includes delivering a wide range of individual care services such as personal care (bathing, feeding, live-in care), wound management, catheter care, PEG feeding, and administering both IM and IV injections, as well as venepuncture. I take pride in my excellent communication skills, actively listening and providing emotional support through conversation, ensuring my patients feel heard and valued. I work hard to get to know my clients personally, understanding their unique needs and helping them enjoy their interests and hobbies, which I believe is essential to their well-being. I am friendly, chatty, and skilled at building strong relationships with my clients, making their care as personalized as possible. I have extensive experience working with patients at various stages of dementia, those with chronic conditions, and individuals requiring end-of-life care in hospitals and hospices. I understand the importance of providing compassionate, dignified care during the most challenging times, ensuring comfort and emotional support for both clients and their families. I am particularly interested in live-in and short-term care services, as they allow me to offer flexible, individualized care that adapts to each person’s specific requirements. I am also dedicated to educating families, empowering them with the knowledge they need to care for their loved ones effectively. In addition to my love for caregiving, I am passionate about cleanliness and enjoy cleaning, ensuring that I always maintain a clean and tidy environment for the comfort and health of my clients. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, walking, sewing, and solving puzzles, and I love staying up to date with TV soaps, documentaries, and the latest news. My friendly and empathetic nature, combined with my professional expertise, ensures that I deliver high-quality, compassionate care to every client I serve.
