KT12 2RB 80273 Hello, some information on what I have been doing for the last four years - I was previously employed as a carer for a very frail lady in South Africa, mainly as her companion and driver, taking her to appointments and best of all, coffee dates. I arrived in the UK in June 2020 at the start of the lockdown due to Covid, at the beginning of my caring career in the UK I initially worked as a live-in carer in the Oxford area for some months, after which I decided to change to domiciliary caring and at the same time moved to Walton on Thames from Bristol as I wanted to be close to my daughters, one of whom lives in Walton and the other in London. I was full time employed as a domiciliary Carer through an Agency in Ashford for about a year and a half which is where I did a large proportion of my training at the same time have enjoyed meeting many lovely clients, who at times were challenging but we ended up being good friends and we both looked forward to our regular visits. Since leaving the agency environment I changed to a more self-employed way of working in the domiciliary caring industry in and around Walton, Weybridge, and Cobham, though have found myself visiting and driving clients as far as Leatherhead and Croydon. I have many hobbies but most of all enjoy knitting for my grandchildren of whom I have two, walking my dog along the river and all the wonderful parks around our area, reading, cooking and my regular yoga practice.

KT6 6LJ 165912 I have spent many years supporting individuals whose conditions require both comprehensive understanding which translates to 'hands on' care and support. I have gained an experience across all sectors of the health care industry, and that includes within a hospital environment, community work, and private arrangements. Fortunately ongoing training and working alongside skilled professional staff has assisted my knowledge and ability to cope with many diverse situations An essential part iof my work is to ensure that the people in my care are treated with great respect. This includes establishing good rapport, being compassionate, empathetic, friendly, open minded. Ideally creating a harmonised environment. I am a registered Social worker and have Masters in Social work. Additionally I hold an NVQ5 in Health and Social Care management. This allows me the opportunity to provide a high level of care.

TW12 1SL 249437 Hi, I have had approximately eleven years experience of working in the Care Sector, three of those have been working as a Personal Assistant. I have worked in various care settings in large and small homes supporting vulnerable adults, those with dementia, learning and physical disabilities and with hearing loss. I really enjoy my work and am dedicated and professional whilst also bringing an element of fun to the clients I work with. I am able to connect and build relationships with people from all backgrounds and enjoy working on a one to one basis to build a good rapport. I am able to liaise with other health professionals such as Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and G.P’s to provide a holistic approach to care. I am proactive in assessing my clients needs and supporting them to access the relevant services in a timely manner. I strive to do my best everyday under all circumstances and treat everyone with dignity, respect and empathy whilst encouraging and promoting independence and choice. I enjoy learning new skills and am happy to have any necessary training for client conditions that may be new to me. I am able to cook tasty, healthy and nutritious meals as I have a background in health and nutrition. I really like researching and implementing enjoyable and social activities for my clients to participate in. I can also help you with light housework and decluttering. I am looking for female clients only. I prefer to work with clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting. I currently have availability on :- Saturday 12.30 to 5.30pm
