N16 0JT 76416 I have a back ground working with (CBOs ) Community Based Organisations. In my line of work I have always met people with different needs in terms of their well being. Listening to those people made me wanting to help them more and most especially reassuring and creating confidence in them. I have worked on a project called EPP, expert patient programme and this, introduced me to people who had a variety of health issues/ long term conditions. The programme was to help them manage their conditions .This makes me a superb carer for many patients have passed through my hands. The most fascinating client I have worked with for 5 years who just passed on last month, had a very rare condition called FOP-A rare genetic connective tissue disorder. This client encouraged me to self teach myself about that condition which made me an outstanding carer and I was able to bring more life to him. I have done courses on Mental health and I am in position to care for someone suffering from anxiety, depression etc... I have worked with patients who had stroke and early dementia and I managed them very well. I am passionate about my work caring, kind and always bring joy and happiness when I am on duty. I am experienced and confident, I am trustworthy and I have good communication skills. I always have a listening ear to my clients/patients. I provide emotional support to my clients/patients and I am a self motivated worker as well as dedicated to my job. I also have hands on experience from in-house training on how to use NIV: Non Intensive Ventilation but no certificate. For Live out, I would prefer to work Monday to Friday. For live in position, I am only available for Friday to Monday 2 weekends in a month as I am currently working with a client the other 2 weekends. Also, I am happy to cover areas in about 30 to 40miles . For the position of live in, I would have 2 hours break so Family or Client have to arrange cover for that break time. Bank holidays are charged at double time. Finally, I am a very good team player ,a problem solver and always eager to learn new skills .

SE18 4HE 18087 I have been a carer for more than 30years. I cared for my grandparents in my country as an unpaid carer from the age of 10 until they both passed away in my early twenties. I came to live in London 30 years ago and naturally worked in the care industry. I have worked with various client groups including the elderly who have dementia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, mental illnesses, physical disabilities, visual impairments, brain/spinal cord injuries, in nursing homes, residential and their own homes. I have also worked with young people with challenging behaviour who live in residential homes. For the last 12 years, I have worked as live-in carer with the elderly delivering care and support in an effective way that is safe, appropriate, that meets their needs and protects their rights. I have a full UK driving licence. My interests are cooking, gardening, crosswords, theatre, cinema, music, driving, travelling and keep fit.

NW9 5WS 160612 I have 5 years experience in the Carer industry backed up by great training in moving & handling, food hygiene, Dementia care, medication administration & Oxygen administration. l have hoisting & sara stedy experience. Currently l am looking after a client with physical disabilities, spinal code injury, l do manual bowel evacuation, support her with moving & handling & wheelchair assistance. l have also looked after dementia & Parkinson clients with mobility, incontinence, limited speech challenges & due to my patience & listening attitude plus my trainings & empathic experience in care, l am offering them great support. lnformally I have had a chance to look after my parents(in their 80s) for several years. Over these years, I have developed a compassionate approach and have great empathy for my clients. I am hardworking, very kind, a great listener, patient and always able to work at my client's pace. I dare say cooking is one of my great passions and I do it very well. I am always happy to prepare healthy meals in a clean environment for my clients. l have cared for a PSP client for 5 months & had to feed her, use nebuliser when struggling to swallow, hoisting her & supporting her in all her limited speech. I have worked as a live in carer for several clients in their nineties with ■late dementia ■hoisting ■handled medication administration ■one was on oxgyen ■continence care ■personal care & companionship ■housework & cleaning■ cooking. I have trained & experience in using oxgyen cylinders & oxgyen condenser for my clients I have worked with several people with dementia. ln Sept 2022, I had a chance of working with a 90 year old lady with dementia and she had great challenges sleeping at night, so I had to patiently talk to her up to late in the night and slowing encourage her to bed, some times with no sleep but settled as much as possible. I have also worked with people with cerebral palsy and PEG feeding. In August 2022 l had a privilege of caring for a young girl (19years) while her family took off some time on holiday. I had to hoist her into bed and wheel chair, she was PEG feeding and l had to manage that using an infusion machine, I was responsible for all her bathes and hygiene care to ensure she was comfortable. I had to do all cooking & cleaning. Before becoming a carer, l trained in early years and used to work with young children. This experience boosted my caring ability and it made it easier for me to care for people of all ages. I love reading, cooking and baking. I look forward to your contact and I am sure I will be able to deliver a great caring service.

SW1V 4AU 85828 As a person with extensive experience in caring I have come to understand that having the ability to deal with people; not just an ability to get along with them is vitally important and it makes a lot of difference in their wellbeing. I deploy an empathy-based approach and authenticity when dealing with any expected or unexpected difficulties of my duty as a carer. I am proactive with a professional attitude enhanced by more than 10 years of practical experience working as a Support Worker and Carer. I have always been keen to develop personally and professionally and as the result, I undertook many Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training to mention a few: *Empathy and Knowledge of Others , Thinking about Oneself and Others, Aggression, Responsibility, and Self-harm. These trainings were organized jointly by Oxford University and Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation. If you think I will meet your caring expectations, please get in touch and I'll reply as soon as I can. Thank you. Please note that I live in London and I am prepared to travel outside only for live-in position.

I can speak English (including writing and reading). I studied for 13 years. My school education was completed in 1982, after that I did a stenography course in an institution called polytechnic, after I completed that course I worked intermittently as a steno/typist clerk in five companies from 1983 to 2012 in sri lanka (more details are mentioned in my application). In 2014 I came to united kingdom and joined as a care worker and got that training. Then I worked in three organizations in the same sector (in short, the work that was entrusted to me and done responsibly - personal care, to get in and out of bed (lifting / moving) using hoists / personal hygiene by showering / bathing / to get dressed and undressed / light general domestic duties as detailed in the care plan or instructed by the management / cooking / feeding / medication and maintaining "mar charts". I am currently still working as a live-in-carer one of the best care agencies in the uk. I am very happy doing this job. that's because my mother is also about 98 years old. even if my mother is not with me, I can get that happiness by looking the elderly people. Thank you

IG11 8LG 14310 I am a Carer/Support Worker since 2012, as I became a volunteer with my local carers charity organisation, presented by my college PA as, I was enrolled for my Health and Social care course, I have been introduced to their borough clients. Their clients were mostly the elderly people, who needed help in their own homes. After a couple years, as, I really loved my job and people whom I care, my next step was to find a job in a particular field. 2015 I started work with a care agency, which brought a care for children and adults. Here, I worked, as a Male Support Worker. Also, I attended a lot of trainings. As, I worked for a couple agencies, my job was to assist to vulnerable clients in their homes. Stay in their homes and help people with personal care, to do shopping, to drive them to the medical appointments, or to their relatives. Help them in their everyday needs to feel more confident comfortable and as much independent, as they can. Also, I worked in London and other UK hospitals, Rehabilitation Centres and lodges. I hold Health and Social Care Levels 2&3. My hobbies: Reading, music, traveling, Church. Mostly, I like spent my time with my family, to listen to good music, watch positive programs and surf the net.

I believe I am a great carer because I perform my tasks from the heart. I have had other jobs before but with Care work, I feel I don’t have to try too hard. I do it naturally. Compassion and how I would like others to care for me when I can’t perform certain tasks underpins how I care for others. I have experience spanning over 10 years with breaks in between. I specialise in old-age related illnesses: dementia, cancer, stroke and lately, have ventured into palliative and End of life care. I have recently refreshed my Care certificate and am up to speed with current issues in the Care sector. I believe in being part of the solution in solving the care crisis: staff and training shortages. During Covid-19 lockdown, I played a part in training fellow carers in Prevention and Infection control. I am also up-to-date with compliancy and policy requirements. My experience has enabled me to carry out risk assessments, communicate and coordinate clients’ needs with the right professionals: district nurses, Occupational Therapists, pharmacies etc. I am generally a happy person who enjoys spreading this happiness to others who may be feeling low. I also love music and can dance. ** Only available for weekly live-in during school breaks**
