DN6 7FH 151132 I have a vast experience in care, and caring is my nature — I was born to care. From childhood, as the firstborn in a family of seven, I was raised in a way that taught me to support my siblings from a very young age. I helped with everything from changing nappies, feeding, showering, to storytelling at bedtime to help them sleep. As I grew into adulthood, I naturally stepped into caring roles, looking after several family members, including my grandparents on both my mum’s and dad’s sides. Over time, this turned into both paid and voluntary work within my community, supporting people who needed care. I can drive and am confident with both manual (gear shift) and automatic cars. While I prefer not to drive long distances, I am happy to work in Yorkshire, Manchester, or Lincoln. I am also open to travelling further by public transport, and for live-in roles I am happy to drive the client’s car if one is provided. I enjoy cooking, especially roast chicken and other home-style meals, and I can plan meals and order food online for delivery. I am comfortable around both cats and dogs, and I’m happy to feed them and take the dog out for daily walks on a lead. In terms of housekeeping, I will keep the client’s bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen clean and tidy as part of my routine care. Caring is not just what I do — it’s who I am.

DN40LJ 185040 I possess over fifteen years of professional and voluntary service with invaluable set of skills and experiences within the academic, business development ,management, charity and the health and social care sector, It has been a great privilege and opportunity for me in learning new and lean ways of delivering positive solutions to the various challenges that confront our children, adults and their families within the community . Over the last few years’, I have been involved in both charity and community development projects where I have been privileged to hold roles of increased responsibilities by helping individuals, families, groups, and communities to enhance their individual and collective well-being. I enjoyed helping individuals develop their skills and use their abilities and the resources available to them within the community to provide a solution to their various needs or challenges. I realised that there is a need for people who are passionate about joining a team of resilient, patient , passionate and caring people who have a collective goal or aim of alleviating the conditions of those in our community who suffer from various forms of social deprivation. Especially issues that are currently reflecting from the impact of the ongoing global pandemic. This is the reason wby I decided to choosing a career as a Carer and Support worker I have had the privilege of completing various degree programmes that have been useful including the NVQ Level 3: working with children and young people which has enabled me to develop a unique way of practice when engaging with people, interdisciplinary professionals, colleagues on different issues arising during my work experience whilst working with Children, Young people and their Families. I have been able to reflect on my knowledge about the laws, legislations and different government policies involved in Health and social care, learning about abuse and the various forms it could present in any individual and how to apply my skills, experiences and knowledge to support individuals in making a positive choice of their current situations. Although, I understand that working as a healthcare assistant , support worker or a nurse is much more than learning about legislations and rules and regulations. The range of experiences gained whilst working with children and families, as well as the elderly and vulnerable adults left me with various indelible, proficient, and excellent skills relevant to the health and social care sector. One of such skills is offering a listening ear, the ability to be a good listener is one of such beautiful skills that has been very useful to me both personally and professionally. I have successfully, together with my partner raised children of our own, this is a life skill and has improved my confidence that I am able to relate to families dealing with various challenges in everyday life. During my stint as a carer for both my aged parents, I developed the ability to understand and apply various communication skills needed to support the elderly and vulnerable adults as well. This is quite fulfilling, realizing that I can give my profound support in making life comfortable and meaningful for individuals.

S64 9RN 19274 I have been a Carer from the age of 20.. from the young age I knew I wanted to be a Carer after we took my grandmother to a care home and the care assistants were so friendly I knew that is same thing I want to do see the elderly happy in their last stage of life. I have 5 years experience in care , I have experiences in learning disabilities, , I also worked with early Dementia and late stage Dementia patients. Also worked in a care home when I started being a carer , gained a lot of experience with moving and handling, using different equipment eg: Hoist , Sara -steady , commodes . My longest livein was 2years with the same client/patient , with Parkinson’s and Dementia and safeguarding of medication so I have gained alot of experience in that.. I love the outdoors , enjoy taking a walk and gardening. Am a tidy person so I don’t mind doing light housework eg: cleaning after myself and my Client and doing a bit of dusty and just light housework.

My broad experience across different healthcare environments has equipped me with the skills, adaptability, and confidence to provide exceptional support to every client I work with. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with clients who value dedicated, respectful, and reliable care.
