DG3 4ES 182156 hi! my name is kia, I'm 28 years old and live at home with my two children and my dog Freya! I love family time, walks and keeping fit as I believe it really important for mental health. I have been in the health care sector for 9 years. I started my first job looking after a gentleman who had cerebral palsy on a private basis and I loved every minute of it, since then I have worked in various settings and have worked with various different individuals, needs and disabilities. I became self employed five years ago and so far it's been such a fantastic journey for me! as well as my self employed work I will also be working up at the hospital which I believe is a fantastic opportunity not only for me but for the care I provide my clients, ensuring I'm always up to date with high quality training. I'm a kind, caring and down to earth individual who takes pride in my work. my clients respect and dignity is always at the center of my care, and I ensure to always treat everyone with kindness and understanding. I am aware how hard it must be having carers in your home and I always keep this at the back of my mind and ensure I'm respectful at all times and conscious of my clients beliefs, religion and wishes. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1"}

KA5 6QY 222557 I am a patient lady who is passionate about her job. I have worked as a pharmacist in my home country for more than 10 years, and part of my activities then involved visiting people in their homes to care for them other than offering medication therapy. Currently, I work with National Autistic Society, where I care for people with challenging behaviours. Part of my responsibilities include bathing, personal grooming, and administration of medications to the residents at my place of work. I am looking for clients to fit around my current job where I do nights, I get my rota 1 month in advance and I am available for days and some nights shifts. I am looking for longer days shifts ideally 4 to 12 hours shifts as I am currently not driving. false

ML11 7DP 236606 I am a hardworking, compassionate, and very caring individual with 1 years official experience of caring for a client with vascular dementia and reduced mobility. I helped care for my late mother for 12 years, who suffered from vascular dementia, was doubly incontinent, and also peg fed. A year or so after my mum passed away, I went on to help care for my dad, who is severely disabled with multiple other health conditions, including arthristis, type 1 diabetes and heart problems, my dad has very poor mobility. Throughout my working life, I have always worked in a health care setting. I am a qualified dental nurse and have worked in this field for 20 years. Most recently, I worked with NHS as a call handler for 5 years, where I have gained a wealth of knowledge of many health conditions, etc. Why have I come to Curum? I have helped care for and personally assist a family friend with vascular dementia, who had quite a lengthy hospital stay after breaking her hip. I have helped this lady build up her confidence in getting her more confident with her mobility by using walking aids etc. I am a great believer in always treating people with dignity, respect, empathy, and honesty. I believe in looking after people the way I would like any member of my family or myself treated if required. I am currently looking for clients that are more mobile until I complete my training certificates. I am unable to lift manual heavy objects or clients due to an injury. I am fully covered for business car insurance. I am available for Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 weekends. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

My motto is as long as my service user is happy, I am happy. I am a very flexible person and always do my best to conduct the best care in the interest of the person receiving my care. I have been a professional carer since October 2022 starting in home care and then moving to a company where I predominantly work in Scottish autism. I have lots of years of personal experience as I have a younger sister who has a very severe case of cerebral palsy, therefore I have a great understanding of a few disabilities and how to handle/ care for this. I treat everyone I care for the same as I would treat my sister because I think it is important to treat everyone like family as some care can be very invasive. I feel I have learnt a lot from the people I have cared for, may that be listening to old war stories and getting a cup of tea or helping someone bathe and get ready for the day ahead. I am currently working towards my SVQ 3 in health and social care. I previously was a nursery teacher so working with children is also something I enjoy. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

ML2 0EN 66915 Hello I am a retired psychiatric nurse with 37 years experience. I also worked as a carer with Lanarkshire Association of Mental Health for a approx 2 years following retirement and cared for our elderly parents along with my siblings . Following further training, I worked as a volunteer counsellor in a primary school in Glasgow with Place2be. All this experience has helped me to attune to the needs and wants of people in my care. I really enjoy supporting people to try something they would really like to do but don't have the confidence to do. I have varied interests which I feel encourages others to broaden their interests. These include dog walking, playing Scrabble, learning (or trying to learn) Mandarin Chinese, playing the piano and being involved in children's work in my local church. I would available 4-6 hours per week Monday to Saturday by mutual agreement. I have had both my Covid vaccinations and the booster and 'flu injection. I regularly do a home test for Covid as well. I am looking forward to being involved in caring again so would be pleased for you to contact me to discuss how I could help you. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}
